Extended Health Care
If you have extended health care through your employer, in most cases we can direct bill on your behalf, and you are then responsible just for any remaining balance. If you prefer to pay the full amount and submit your own extended health, the choice is yours!
Other Insurance Cover
One of the main reasons why people do not seek Allied Health Professional care is cost. There are several programs available that cover partial or all treatment expenses for the patient. If you are eligible for any of these programs, our administration team can assist you with obtaining coverage and will answer any questions you may have.
WorkSafeBC
Workers who are injured on the job and who qualify for workers compensation benefits are covered for eight weeks of chiropractic treatment at no cost. Treatment may not coincide with additional treatments (eg. physiotherapy) without prior approval from WorkSafeBC. If you have been hurt on the job, contact your family chiropractor immediately to begin recovery.
We do not offer Registered Massage Therapy or Acupuncture WorksafeBC cover at this time.
ICBC
ICBC provides coverage to motorists who are injured as a result of a collision. Simply provide your claim number to your chiropractor, acupuncturist or registered massage therapist who will confirm that you have been approved. Treatment costs are covered for 12 weeks from the date of the accident. Some appointment types may have a small out of pocket expense. Contact ICBC as soon as possible if you have been involved in a crash then our Admin team can help you book in with one of our practitioners.
