Dr. Shannon Gill completed her undergraduate studies in Kinesiology at the University of Waterloo before earning her Doctor of Chiropractic from the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon. She graduated with a strong foundation in evidence-informed, patient-centered care.
Dr. Gill is especially excited to be practicing in her hometown of Ladner. Her journey into chiropractic began locally in 2018 while working as a co-op student at Fiskco Health + Performance, where she first discovered her passion for the profession. Returning to serve the same community that shaped her, now as a chiropractor, feels like a full-circle moment.
She provides care for patients of all ages, from newborns to adults, using a range of gentle and effective techniques, including Diversified, Thompson Drop, Activator, and soft tissue therapy. Her approach is always tailored to each individual’s age, condition, and comfort level.
Dr. Gill has a special interest in working with families, particularly during pregnancy and early childhood. She is certified in the Webster Technique through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA), and supports pregnant patients with back and pelvic pain, postural changes, birth preparation, and postpartum recovery. For infants and children, she offers care for musculoskeletal imbalances and developmental concerns, including torticollis, latch and feeding challenges, colic, and digestive issues. For adult patients, she combines chiropractic adjustments with rehabilitative exercises and lifestyle recommendations to address pain, posture, and stress-related tension.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Gill enjoys exploring farmers markets, visiting local cafés and small shops, and spending time with family and friends. She values community and connection, and brings that same warmth and intention into her care.
