Chiropractic

Chiropractors are regulated healthcare professionals who focus on the prevention, assessment, diagnosis and management of musculoskeletal and nervous system conditions. Derived from the Greek words “chiro” and “praxis” meaning “done by hand”, chiropractors utilize a hands-on, proactive approach to full body care.

During a chiropractic appointment, your chiropractors’ goal is to diagnose your neuromusculoskeletal condition(s), develop an individualized treatment plan, and provide education on injury prevention. Chiropractic care not only focuses on alleviating your pain, but also improving your function to help you lead a healthier and more active life. Chiropractors can help with acute injuries, chronic problems that seem to persist or be seen for a proactive, wellness checks to make sure your body is functional at its optimal level. No referrals are necessary to see a chiropractor.

Registered Massage Therapy

We are currently NOT accepting New Patients. Massage therapy is the scientific manipulation of the soft tissues of the body for the purpose of normalizing those tissues and consists of manual techniques that include applying fixed or movable pressure, holding, and/or causing movement of or to the body

Massage therapy is one of the oldest health care practices known to history. Massage has been advocated in Western health care practices at least since the time of Hippocrates, the “Father of Medicine.”

Acupuncture + Traditional Chinese Medicine

The word “acupuncture” is derived from two Latin words “acus” which means “needle” and “punctura” which means ‘to penetrate’. The word “acupuncture” therefore means ‘to penetrate with a needle’.

ACUPUNCTURE is a form of Alternative medicine. It is commonly used for pain relief, though it is also used to treat a wide range of conditions. Acupuncture is the stimulation of specific acupuncture points along the skin of the body using thin needles.

TRADITIONAL CHINESE MEDICINE (TCM): at the heart of TCM is the belief that 2 opposing principles yin + yang must remain in balance within a person’s body, and that an imbalance promotes disease. The concept of “qi” is also central to Chinese medical philosophy. Qi is the circulating life force whose existence and properties are the basis of much Chinese philosophy and medicine.
